Monogram Kitchen Appliances Overview

Industry titan GE is no stranger to understanding the needs of its buyers. While sister lines GE Café and GE Profilev offer shoppers an elevated appliance experience, the manufacturers saved their highest level of luxury for the Monogram series kitchen appliances

To create this unique user experience, Monogram operates around three core principles:

  1. Using outstanding materials
  2. Delivering restaurant-quality performance
  3. Creating state-of-the-art appliances that are intuitive to use

While the catalog of Monogram appliances may not be as broad as that of GE Profile, shoppers can still find a wide variety of kitchen appliances, including:

GE Profile vs. Monogram vs. GE Café

Like their sister lineups, Monogram appliances are designed exclusively for the kitchen. While Café appliances cater to trendy palettes, and GE Profile appliances are ideal for a humble brag, Monogram kitchen appliances are crafted to showcase true, undeniable opulence.

And although Monogram is a luxury appliance line, it carries the spirit of GE appliances: utility. Rather than being over-the-top purely for demonstration, Monogram appliances place particular emphasis on the everyday practicality of base kitchen needs, making their products accessible to a wider range of lifestyles.

Let’s recap:

✓ GE appliances offer standard performance at an affordable price with conventional finishes and style options; great for entry-level buyers who seek dependability.

✓ GE Profile appliances are high-end yet refined, with an emphasis on clean design for the professional home; great for shoppers with a flexible budget who appreciate tailored craftsmanship

✓ GE Monogram appliances deliver a premium experience with the best materials and progressive design; great for shoppers who want to make a big impression and expect reliable performance

Monogram vs. Competitors

Perhaps the biggest pro to buying Monogram kitchen appliances is accessibility. For example, while Wolf is largely accepted as a leader of cooking appliances, shoppers won’t be able to create a seamless experience in the kitchen since Wolf does not manufacture refrigeration or dishwashers. In order to do so, shoppers will need to explore affiliate brands Sub-Zero and Cove for refrigerators and dishwashers, respectively.

On the other hand, Thermador does carry a lineup of kitchen appliances that can compete with Monogram’s catalog, including ranges and rangetops, cooktops, wall ovens, refrigeration, and dishwashers. Additionally, Thermador is renowned for its cooktops featuring a patented star design, gaining a slight edge over buyers who are particularly focused on top-of-the-line cooking performance.

Ultimately, when it comes to GE Monogram versus Thermador, buyers can expect to spend between:

  • $4,500 and $11,000 for a Monogram range versus $4,800 and $19,900 for a Thermador range
  • $1,700 and $3,200 for a Monogram cooktop versus $1,400 and $5,300 for a Thermador cooktop
  • Depending on configuration, $3,100 and $7,200 for a Monogram wall oven versus $2,300 and $9,100 for a Thermador wall oven
  • Depending on configuration, $4,100 and $10,500 for a Monogram refrigerator versus $5,500 and $9,300 for a Thermador refrigerator
  • $1,200 and $1,700 for a Monogram dishwasher versus $1,400 and $2,800 for a Thermador dishwasher
