Along with our own service technicians we also partner with several Factory Authorized appliance servicers in our area to make supporting our customers as seamless as possible.

Our parts supplier is the largest authorized appliance parts distributor for leading brands such as Whirlpool, Electrolux, General Electric, Maytag, Bosch, Samsung, Dacor & many more. They have the most extensive inventory of original replacement parts in the country for household appliances, such as washers and dryers, refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, and microwaves. There are three types of appliance delivery options: Basic Delivery, Delivery with Place and Set, and Custom Installation.


Basic Delivery

Basic delivery is considered a drop off at the customer address indicated on the purchase agreement. The delivery agent will place the unit/s on the sidewalk or driveway or delivery address. Delivery agents will not remove doors, railings, or other fixtures in the home in order to deliver or install a product.

Delivery agent may inspect the product for any signs of obvious damage. If any damage is found, it must be indicated on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery.

An adult, 18 years or older must be present at time of delivery. This person must be able to sign for receipt of product/s. The delivery team cannot enter your home unaccompanied, nor can they accept a signed note instructing them to leave your purchase.

Sidewalks and driveway must be in place and must be clear of snow, ice and debris prior to attempting delivery. Delivery agents have the right to refuse unsafe delivery conditions. We reserve the right to refuse delivery to residences that present unsafe delivery conditions or adverse delivery situations.


Delivery

A flat rate delivery charge for local delivery will be added to your purchase. Long distance, multi-floor and other exceptions may require additional delivery charges.

Delivery agent may inspect the product for any signs of obvious damage. If any damage is found, it must be indicated on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery.

Based on option selected at time of purchase, product will be placed and set for an additional charge. If additional work is required to complete the selected option of the selected product/s at time of delivery, those charges would be billed separately upon completion

Product will be placed and set on either a 1st floor or lower. If product is to be placed and set on a 2nd floor or above there may be an additional charge per floor.

Delivery agents will not remove doors, railings, or other fixtures in the home in order to deliver or place and set a product.

All placed and set product/s will be tested to ensure proper operation and functions.

Delivery agents are not carpenters, plumbers, or electricians. All electrical outlets, water and gas shut-off valves, and cabinetry must be available and compliant at the time of delivery to complete any purchased place and set options.

If proper electrical outlets, gas shut-off valves, water supply and shut off valves, or venting sources are not available at the time of delivery, a complete place and set may not be possible.

Delivery agents will not place and set products, using previous or old connectors. This would consist of but not limited to the following: washer hoses, plastic or flexible dryer venting, copper or aluminum gas lines or existing flexible gas connectors, or existing electric range cords. We offer removal of your existing appliances when requested. At no time will East Coast Appliance be responsible to for damages caused by the removal of the old appliances. This includes damages to the appliance or any personal or real property.


Normal place and set for replacement of the same type product would be as follows:

Washer - removal of old unit, set new unit in place, level, and connect to outlet.
Dryer - removal of old unit, set new unit in place, hook up venting electric cord, and level.
Ranges - removal of old unit, set new unit in place, level, electric cord.
Refrigeration:
Non Ice maker model - Move old unit to garage (removal is additional charge), set in place, connect to outlet.
Ice and Water models- Move old unit to garage (removal is additional charge), set in place, connect to existing water valve (as long as valve is located properly and meets local codes), level if the model allows, connect to outlet.


Non-Normal installation would consist of the following:

Washer - removal of an old unit with water inside the washer, reinforcing floor to support new washer.
Dryer - replacement of gas valves, extending gas piping, running electric, hooking up to 3" ducting, replacement of 4" exhaust hood thru a wall, moving the washer to replace the dryer (when not purchased together).
Ranges - Anti-Tip device involvement.
Refrigeration - Reversal of the refrigerator doors, running a new water line.


Custom delivery and installation

A custom installation would be required if the installation needed does not fall within any of the predefined installations as indicated on the above Installation Addendum. You will be provided with an estimate of charges to install the appliance prior to any charges being made.

We offer removal of your existing appliances when requested. At no time will East Coast Appliance be responsible to for damages caused by the removal of the old appliances. This includes damages to the appliance or any personal or real property.

Return Policy

NEW IN A BOX CAN BE RETURNED WITHIN 7 DAYS OF PURCHASE IF UNOPENED UNLESS DEFECTIVE.ALL DEFECTS MUST BE VALIDATED BY EAST COAST TECHNICIANS PRIOR TO THE PROCESSING OF ANY RETURN. ALL OPENED PRODUCT WILL BE ASSESSED A MINIMUM RESTOCKING FEE OF 15%. IF OPENED THE PRODUCT MUST BE IN LIKE NEW CONDITION WITH ALL ORIGINAL ACCESSORIES AND PAPERWORK. AFTER 3 DAYS ALL DEFECTS WILL BE SERVICED UNDER THE MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY AND WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN OR EXCHANGE.

SCRATCH AND DENT AND USED PRODUCT DO NOT QUALIFY FOR REFUND, RETURN OR EXCHANGE. ANY DEFECTS WILL BE REMEDIED BY EXISTING WARRANTIES ON THESE PRODUCTS

ALL SCRATCH AND DENT PRODUCTS ARE SOLD AS-IS AND ARE NOT RETURNABLE. DEFECTIVE SCRATCH AND DENT WILL BE EXCHANGED ONLY WHEN DEEMED UNREPAIRABLE BY AN EAST COAST TECHNICIAN WITHIN 7 DAYS OF PURCHASE. AFTER 7 DAYS ALL SCRATCH AND DENT PRODUCT WILL BE SERVICED UNDER THE MANUFACTURE’S WARRANTY AND NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN OR EXCHANGE.

THIS RETURN POLICY EXCLUDES ALL PRODUCT DEEMED SPECIAL ORDER, CUSTOM ORDER, AND USED PRODUCT. MOST PRODUCT FROM BOSCH, VIKING, MIELE, SUB ZERO, WOLF, DCS, DACOR, JENNAIRE, GE MONOGRAM AND ICON ARE CONSIDERED SPECIAL ORDER.

CUSTOM ORDERED PRODUCT IS NON-RETURNABLE AND NON REFUNDABLE. THERE IS A MINIMUM 15% RETOCKING FEE ON ALL CANCELLED SPECIAL ORDERS EAST COAST APPLIANCE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DENY ANY RETURN
